The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Krzysztof Prusek's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krzysztof Prusek helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of All Boys 22 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 24th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ezequiel Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ezequiel Fresco quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mexico booed when All Boys 22 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Prusek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Fresco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of play. Frank Zappa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Fresco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. All Boys 22's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that All Boys 22's Ezequiel Fresco managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 57th minute of play forced All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig in the 60th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Heggert in the 61st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after All Boys 22's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Facundo Cadaval to fire away a dangerous shot which Ezequiel Fresco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 87 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. In the 89th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ezequiel Fresco. Ezequiel Fresco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 93 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ezequiel Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of play forced All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
