In the 4th minute Alexander Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Graciani in the 6th minute of the match. Ahmet Baki Ulualp took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alfredo Graciani's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Growlithe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Bernabe Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Kevin Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernabe Armani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Growlithe FC's Bernabe Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Growlithe FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Armani was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Graciani got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Alexander Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Armani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Growlithe FC's Ionuț Pandele. In the 34thth minute of the game Alexander Palmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alexander Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Palmer in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute, Pedro Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Growlithe FC were awarded a corner. Ahmet Baki Ulualp went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Growlithe FC's Ahmet Baki Ulualp to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Palmer made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Orlando Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Growlithe FC the free kick. In the 56th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Palmer in the 57th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Ulualp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Growlithe FC's Ahmet Baki Ulualp to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 68 minutes Growlithe FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Growlithe FC's Bernabe Armani managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Baki Ulualp in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Growlithe FC's Alexander Palmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alexander Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Growlithe FC's Barış Ziya was substituted for Alexander Palmer. Barış Ziya hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Growlithe FC's Barış Ziya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Ziya took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Growlithe FC's Ionuț Pandele quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barış Ziya in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Barış Ziya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Growlithe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barış Ziya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Growlithe FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
