After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Rouco made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Macos Graciani immediately put the ball in play. 35 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Heggert. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Fresco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Freire in the 65th minute of the match. Ezequiel Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Fresco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the All Boys 22 defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ezequiel Fresco. The All Boys 22 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ezequiel Fresco should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramachandramurthy Wucherpfennig, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Ezequiel Fresco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 83 minutes into the match, All Boys 22's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fresco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Walter Heggert got a free kick in the 84th minute.
