Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Fonseca in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 8 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 11thth minute of the game Hélder Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fellipe Capixaba, made in the 12th minute of the game. Marcinho Sabóia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 15th minute Hélder Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Sabóia got free with Rolando Noboa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Peru were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner was taken by Geovani Mangueira in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Antonio Tenorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
