Deng Liang Yao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Defensores de Fasano's Generoso Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Nazario in the 15th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Domingo Guillen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Fasano and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingo Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Manuel Unax hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Fasano's Luiz Andrade. But to his dismay, Luiz Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Deng Liang Yao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 29 minutes, Roland Deutsch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Fasano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Deutsch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roland Deutsch went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 43 minutes of play, Defensores de Fasano's Generoso Nazario made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Nazario to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Defensores de Fasano booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Fasano's Generoso Nazario. But to his dismay, Generoso Nazario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Defensores de Fasano made a substitution. Ruben Teodor replaced Generoso Nazario. Defensores de Fasano made a substitution. Delmar Pes replaced Luiz Andrade. Defensores de Fasano's Ruben Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76th play minutes Ruben Teodor shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Teodor in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deng Liang Yao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Deng Liang Yao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Ruben Teodor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Teodor in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Defensores de Fasano were the better team. Defensores de Fasano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
