After 4 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Damm. 冯亦思 hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Nichifor Borăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Nichifor Borăscu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of International Thunders's Rouven Nussli. Rouven Nussli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rouven Nussli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Rouven Nussli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos was substituted for Percival Costa. Loukianos Staikos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Arthur Damm charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Damm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Arthur Damm got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rouven Nussli in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Bäuschlein came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 冯亦思 hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Nichifor Borăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Loukianos Staikos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 冯亦思 in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Rouven Nussli however easily saved by the left post. Rouven Nussli was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Staikos came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, International Thunders's Arthur Damm got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Tibor Bäuschlein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
