Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aquiles Urtsin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 14 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Darwin Núñez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aquiles Urtsin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Merengue FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Bayan Gugovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Gugovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 41st minute. Edelmiro Quintyn made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darwin Núñez. Darwin Núñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Aquiles Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Gonsalvo's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Gonsalvo helped the player get up and apologised. Merengue FC:s Bayan Gugovski showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. 58 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski. Bayan Gugovski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Darwin Núñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darwin Núñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aquiles Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Darwin Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jago in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the game, Darwin Núñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merengue FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
