Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bayan Gugovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayan Gugovski having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 20th minute of play. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayan Gugovski having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Saelices in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Gugovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Darwin Núñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darwin Núñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bayan Gugovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Darwin Núñez could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. After 44th play minutes Darwin Núñez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darwin Núñez got free with Julio Vera in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Bayan Gugovski made a huge save. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bayan Gugovski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Bayan Gugovski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Darwin Núñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merengue FC the free kick. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merengue FC made a substitution. Everardo Nerio replaced Raimundo Gonsalvo. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 76thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Merengue FC's keeper Bayan Gugovski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bayan Gugovski stood somewhat misplaced when Cristian Sancho came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 84 minute. In the 89th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darwin Núñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merengue FC.
