In the 70th minute, Darío Benedetto made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Rios. MXL FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Rodrigo Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Cristi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Ronaldo Cristi sped through MXL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Rios. After 78 minutes, Ronaldo Cristi made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. MXL FC's Rodrigo Rios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Ronaldo Cristi sped through MXL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Rios. After a defensive mix-up in MXL FC's zone, Ronaldo Cristi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Rios came out of the goal and Ronaldo Cristi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Darío Benedetto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Rodrigo Rios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodrigo Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Equipo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
