Csaba Markovits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Rios made a huge save. Rodrigo Rios stood somewhat misplaced when Jeremias Lehoi came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. In the 14th minute, Arnaldo Bernaldo fired a really elegant long shot, but Rodrigo Rios threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 15th minute Laureano Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MXL FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Victor Gomez hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, MXL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Rios made a huge save. Rodrigo Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Primeiro in the 21st minute of play. Gilberto Gabirel replaced Laureano Primeiro. Jimeno Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dobromir Szarmach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the MXL FC defense, Csaba Markovits kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Rios. The MXL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Rios should have stopped the shot. Dobromir Szarmach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Ofelio in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, MXL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Al Bundy came free, but Rodrigo Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Al Bundy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Rios. MXL FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Bundy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. • REGINA • had played much better football throughout.
