Equipo's Sid Todd managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Wiley in the 32 minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Equipo's Bruno Beugnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Benat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Beugnet in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Benat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Benat was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Bruno Beugnet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Beugnet really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Guimarães made a kick off. Ismael Furman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
