Julio Quintin's late challenge caught a Deportivo de Coba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Quintin helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Astros de México got a freekick which was hit by Julio Quintin. If Florentino Dominix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Dominix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo de Coba getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Simon Sotero hit a great ball. Deportivo de Coba's Herminio Nalo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonides Arlo in the 15 minute of the game. Florentino Dominix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Antoni Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Florentino Dominix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astros de México's Antoni Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Dominix got free with Antoni Lopes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astros de México's Antoni Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Astros de México from getting a goal against them. Tomás Pepillo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Astros de México's Feliberto Eyague. But to his dismay, Feliberto Eyague quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Florentino Dominixs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Antoni Lopes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 43 minutes into the game, Domingo Teodor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo de Coba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astros de México the free kick. The supporters of Astros de México booed when Deportivo de Coba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Román, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Dominix took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoni Lopes. Antoni Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Dominix in the 65th minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Antoni Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Guillen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Astros de México's Iker Dei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Justo Ranolfo, made in the 68th minute of the game. Simon Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Patricio Egoi made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo de Coba's Americo Guillen. Justo Ranolfo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Angulo Cabañero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pepillo having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Florentino Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Americo Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Florentino Dominix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Lopes having to make a save. Antoni Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Teodor went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
