In the 20th minute, Marek Torm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 29th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bianco Natale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi in the 34th minute of play. Ladislao Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 69th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Per-Olof Vallmark replaced Victor Abaurre. 93 minutes into the game, Vikingos FC's Vladimiro Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Nesto got free with Sebastián Sosa in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vikingos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
