Spectators: 191 (Terracing: 144, Seating: 44, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastián Villa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastián Villa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 5 minutes into the game, Sebastián Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jose Laffitte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes in the game Pablo Escobar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Domingos Firme. Sebastián Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jose Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Laffitte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Villa in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Villa in the 22nd minute of play forced Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s goalkeeper Jose Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Donatello in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gaston Gaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Donatello in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Ej. Hermosillo B.C. defense, Sebastián Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Laffitte. The Ej. Hermosillo B.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Laffitte should have stopped the shot. Teofilo Mikeldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastián Villa scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Laffitte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ej. Hermosillo B.C. defense, Sebastián Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Laffitte. The Ej. Hermosillo B.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Laffitte should have stopped the shot. Ej. Hermosillo B.C.'s Jose Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 72nd minute of play. Sebastián Villa took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Laffitte. Jose Laffitte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 79 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Sebastián Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Laffitte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Cecilio Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jose Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Sebastián Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastián Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavaliers FC's Marcos Arano was substituted for Sebastián Villa. Pastor Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ej. Hermosillo B.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cavaliers FC.
