An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 7th minute of play forced Acereros FC's goalkeeper Remigio Micael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Glozor in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Pankracy Glozor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Arnoud de Pelsmakere was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mehat Kovaçi sped through Acereros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remigio Micael. Remigio Micael came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi. But to his dismay, Mehat Kovaçi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mehat Kovaçi sped through Acereros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Remigio Micael. 34 minutes into the match, Mehat Kovaçi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigio Micael. Acereros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mehat Kovaçi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loukas Bakogiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Loukas Bakogiannis made the kick off in the second half. Loukas Bakogiannis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Remigio Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere got control of the ball when Loukas Bakogiannis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Cougars FC were awarded a corner. Angel Morales went to the cornerflag to take it. Errikos Nestoratos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Remigio Micael, a very annoying self made goal in the 66th minute which led to 7-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Acereros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Remigio Micael came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cougars FC's Horia Păuceanu. But to his dismay, Horia Păuceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Cougars FC made a substitution. Steffen Gimlinge replaced Mehat Kovaçi. Bianco Natale kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Acereros FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bonifacio Bidari hit a great ball. Steffen Gimlinge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Micael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Steffen Gimlinge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Micael having to make a save. Remigio Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Gimlinge in the 89th minute of play. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Stoltidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Stoltidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Leonel Solo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cougars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acereros FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cougars FC had won after a very even match.
