With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tião Alcântara in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Gartxot saved Steelares FC from getting behind. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Yucatan F.C.'s Benicio Loiola. But to his dismay, Benicio Loiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Loiola came free, but Eloy Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes Steelares FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apolo Opilano who took care of the corner kick. 23 minutes into the match, Yucatan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Marcones came free, but Alejandro Gavilanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Tião Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eloy Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yucatan F.C.'s Alejandro Gavilanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Yucatan F.C. from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Opilano came free, but Eloy Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Benicio Loiola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yucatan F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Barea was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Tião Alcântara lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Eloy Gartxot. Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Steelares FC from getting a goal against them. Eloy Gartxot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tião Alcântara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 58 minute of play. Benicio Loiola took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Gartxot. Eloy Gartxot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Yucatan F.C.'s Juan Gabriel was substituted for Tião Alcântara. Eloy Gartxot came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Yucatan F.C.'s Benicio Loiola. But to his dismay, Benicio Loiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. With an all-out effort, Yucatan F.C.'s Eloy Gartxot threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Gabriel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eloy Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Yucatan F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Benicio Loiola hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Opilano came free, but Eloy Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Florinio's late challenge caught a Yucatan F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
