Zlatko Ibrahimovićs short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Celso Hartz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vicente Senin made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Skill-Park FC's Jaime Domeka. Zlatko Ibrahimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Celso Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Celedonio Abajas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skill-Park FC's José-Luis Chilavert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Skill-Park FC's Roberto-Jose Carlos got a free kick in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Zlatko Ibrahimović took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Celso Hartz to make any attempt to save it. 44 minutes into the match, Zlatko Ibrahimović notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's Celso Hartz. Celso Hartz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paulo Hermes was the one to do the kick off. Celso Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Skill-Park FC's Zlatko Ibrahimović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Hartz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. In the 81st minute Matias Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Yucatan Chichén Itzá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zlatko Ibrahimović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Skill-Park FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
