Medero Aballe scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Bermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play La Cantera Mexicana's Leo Oso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Cornelio Bermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, La Cantera Mexicana's Sebastian Gaskon got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cornelio Bermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lluciano Puyol in the 36th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Cornelio Bermudo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Bazil to strike the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Cidro in the 57th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Bermudo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. La Cantera Mexicana's Cornelio Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Cidro in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, La Cantera Mexicana's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Aballe came free, but Cornelio Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Bermudo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Chaves U21's Lluciano Puyol. But to his dismay, Lluciano Puyol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lluciano Puyol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Bermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chaves U21 had played much better football throughout.
