But to his dismay, Rafal Tomaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Tobías Astorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Seguinus might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Javiero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Seguinus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute of the match SIDI got a corner. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clodoveo Mogel ran over to the corner to take the kick. SIDI were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clodoveo Mogel took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Orlondo in the 21st minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Raulo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Guido Lizer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Javiero. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Lizer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Octavio Orlondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIDI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Orlondo in the 36th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, SIDI's Octavio Orlondo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Javiero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute Guido Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Raulo came out of the goal and Rodrigo Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Rojas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SIDI's zone, Rodrigo Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Raulo came out of the goal and Rodrigo Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Miguel Larpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SIDI the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Miguel Larpe got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Seguinus got free with Benicio Javiero in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SIDI booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guido Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Clodoveo Mogel was slow to take the kick. During this time SIDI's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Restu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atlético Nuevo Laredo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Freddy Restu hit a great ball. SIDI's Inocencio Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Rojas in the 76th minute of play. Inocencio Raulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Rojas's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Fabian Hitzeder got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Benicio Javiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Javiero was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Justo Ignado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justo Ignado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Carolo Bernat scored 1-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Raulo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
