The supporters of Atlético Nuevo Laredo booed when Halcones Azules was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Conrao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Benvido to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Maximo Natal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 19 minutes, 张真军 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halcones Azules's supporters crossed their fingers, but 张真军 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Halcones Azules's Eliseo Conrao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Javiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rodrigo Rojas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Rojas couldn't finish the play. Maximo Natal took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Javiero. Benicio Javiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Halcones Azules's zone, Freddy Restu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hamit Özercan came out of the goal and Freddy Restu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Halcones Azules was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Natal to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Hamit Özercan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Rojas in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Conrao was the one to do the kick off. 张真军 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Benicio Javiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severino Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Mustafa Hamit Özercan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Rojas in the 59th minute. Freddy Restu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Restu in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mustafa Hamit Özercan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 75 minutes Halcones Azules's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carolo Bernat who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Eduardo Mincho got a free kick in the 77th minute. Halcones Azules's Cesar Franco was substituted for Gerardo Ihazintu. Halcones Azules's Leo Vistruario was substituted for Maximo Natal. A collision led to Atlético Nuevo Laredo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eduardo Mincho hit a great ball. Eliseo Conrao scored 4-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Eliseo Conrao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 94 played minutes Halcones Azules got a freekick which was hit by Severino Benvido. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Halcones Azules had won after a very even match.
