After 37 played minutes Invur Fondos de México FC got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Hodek. Alcino Ribas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Arne Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invur Fondos de México FC. With an all-out effort, Huracan FC's Hermengildo Hermelando threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from CJ Klose, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Santo Cambranes got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alcino Ribas. 60 minutes into the match, Huracan FC's CJ Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Hermelando narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
