Okan Kongur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute Okan Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iphitos Skandalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Okan Kongur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iphitos Skandalis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 minutes, Vuyo Mandla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MEXICO and the Tracto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vuyo Mandla hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Vuyo Mandla in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tracto's Isidro Gartzi. MEXICO's Iphitos Skandalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Kongur in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Okan Kongur in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iphitos Skandalis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, MEXICO's Vuyo Mandla got a free kick in the 24th minute. Okan Kongur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Fagildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Iphitos Skandalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Kongur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Okan Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iphitos Skandalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Vuyo Mandla with Geronimo Eladio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 35th minute, Okan Kongur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Isidro Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match, Giovanni da Silveira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernabe Fagildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Marti Veenpere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
In the 55th minute Okan Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iphitos Skandalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iphitos Skandalis was a little too slow when Okan Kongur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. Bernabe Fagildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Tibalt went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. MEXICO's Americo Jon was substituted for Honorato Gaitan. 65 minutes into the match, Okan Kongur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iphitos Skandalis. MEXICO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Okan Kongur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Iphitos Skandalis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Okan Kongur sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Okan Kongur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iphitos Skandalis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Okan Kongur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tracto's supporters rose to their feet, but Okan Kongur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iphitos Skandalis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vuyo Mandla was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. After 81 played minutes MEXICO got a freekick which was hit by Vuyo Mandla. Geronimo Eladio charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Eladio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabe Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Tibalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Gaston Rosio put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Bernabe Fagildo. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see MEXICO lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
