Alcino Ribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alcino Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Invur Fondos de México FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Hermelando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaston Rosio. Iphitos Skandalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Hodek in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alcino Ribas in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iphitos Skandalis saved MEXICO from getting behind. Invur Fondos de México FC's Hermengildo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Tibalt in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of MEXICO booed when Invur Fondos de México FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volmar Løvsgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Tibalt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Iphitos Skandalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcino Ribas in the 30th minute of play. Iphitos Skandalis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcino Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Invur Fondos de México FC's Hermengildo Hermelando got control of the ball when Gaston Rosio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Invur Fondos de México FC's Leopoldo Guillelmus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredo Loramendi, made in the 40th minute of the game. With a little luck, Invur Fondos de México FC's Hermengildo Hermelando got control of the ball when Gaston Rosio tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alcino Ribas to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Loramendi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Loramendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alfredo Loramendi was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to MEXICO getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alfredo Loramendi hit a great ball. MEXICO's Iphitos Skandalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino Ribas in the 55th minute of play. MEXICO's Americo Jon was substituted for Honorato Gaitan. Invur Fondos de México FC made a substitution. Alvaro Walme replaced Marcial Balendin. Invur Fondos de México FC's Herminio Heriberto was substituted for Jacinto Ponc. The attack was good, but when Salvador Tibalt in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Invur Fondos de México FC's Alcino Ribas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcino Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Iphitos Skandalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcino Ribas got free with Iphitos Skandalis in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Invur Fondos de México FC's corner Leopoldo Guillelmus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iphitos Skandalis quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Rosio in the 88th minute of play forced Invur Fondos de México FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Invur Fondos de México FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MEXICO.
