Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaston Rosio got the match started through his kick off. Ricardo Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Björn Vanek made a huge save. When MEXICO's Gaston Rosio in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SMARTS FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Horacio Llin managed to get in a good position for a shot. SMARTS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Llin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Vanek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Gaston Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MEXICO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Geronimo Eladio succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MEXICO! When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, SMARTS FC's Eustacio Aureo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Björn Vanek. In the 37th minute, Denis Ostargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Vanek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 40 minutes into the game, Florencio Rosalio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SMARTS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MEXICO the free kick. A collision led to SMARTS FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Florencio Rosalio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Rosio in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Enekoitz saved SMARTS FC from getting behind. In the 44th minute Geronimo Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ricardo Gartzen made the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Hernan Enekoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eustacio Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind MEXICO's goalkeeper Björn Vanek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Salvador Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Salvador Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-5 became the score in the 79th minute when Gaston Rosio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Salvador Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Americo Jon took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Enekoitz. Hernan Enekoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Americo Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Enekoitz having to interfere. Geronimo Eladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. MEXICO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
