Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Cabrera ran back to his position shaking his head. Hernan Enekoitz made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Daniel Cabrera sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Enekoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Enekoitz saved SMARTS FC from getting behind. Homero Thomson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Enekoitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Homero Thomson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Hernan Enekoitz came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by TZILACATZIN's Homero Thomson. But to his dismay, Homero Thomson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jonathan Lluciano scored 4-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edinho Lira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernan Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Cabrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Enekoitz was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Cabrera in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Enekoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Enekoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Cabrera went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Homero Thomson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Hernan Enekoitz made a huge save. SMARTS FC's Hernan Enekoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Belarmo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when SMARTS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Enekoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 42nd minute of play forced SMARTS FC's goalkeeper Hernan Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Gartzen made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Victoriano Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Homero Thomson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Enekoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Homero Thomson went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When Joaquin Miro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SMARTS FC's protests and gave Joaquin Miro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, SMARTS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Miro to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Victoriano Distiratsu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernan Enekoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Homero Thomson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TZILACATZIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 64th minute, Daniel Cabrera made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Enekoitz. SMARTS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. 67 minutes into the match, Homero Thomson notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of SMARTS FC's Hernan Enekoitz. Hernan Enekoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When SMARTS FC's Ricardo Gartzen in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. TZILACATZIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-2. 92 minutes into the match, SMARTS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cabrera came free, but Hernan Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Miro got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 96 played minutes SMARTS FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Miro. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TZILACATZIN fully deserved thier win.
