Ye Yan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ye Yan Yu having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Fashions del Averno's goal looked a bit too open when Wenzel Winter came free, but Gianluca Kán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Fashions del Averno defense, Okoyomon Charles Pinazas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gianluca Kán. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
