Joaquin Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Kán having to interfere. Marcelo Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Gentza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Racing Club's Eustacio Gonsalvo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raul Agu, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Fashions del Averno's Hernan Laurendi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olavo Henriques in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Fashions del Averno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Agu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fashions del Averno's Ingmar Eltmaa was substituted for Artemio Chano. Gianluca Kán made an important save on a dangerous shot by İskender Baki Sabi in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marcelo Chuan made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by İskender Baki Sabi. 52 minutes into the match, Marcelo Chuan notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Racing Club's Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gianluca Kán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İskender Baki Sabi in the 58th minute of play. Racing Club's Godofredo Remigio was substituted for Iustinian Ipătescu. Racing Club made a substitution. Tayyar Taner replaced Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz. Racing Club's attentive Edmond Suetens managed to snatch the ball when Herbert Zbikowski made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Ingmar Eltmaa came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olavo Henriques could save by the left post. Fashions del Averno's Gianluca Kán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Remigio in the 73rd minute of play. Ingmar Eltmaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Olavo Henriques made a huge save. Marcelo Chuans short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Olavo Henriques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd minute, Geronimo Salomone made a precise shot to the right of Gianluca Kán. Fashions del Averno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Gianluca Kán came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Club's Godofredo Remigio. But to his dismay, Godofredo Remigio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. There was no doubt that Racing Club were the better team. Racing Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
