In the 19th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. Titanes Mayas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Demircioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Mías Marin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. Peter Blomkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Mías Marin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Mías Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Blomkvist. Mías Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 40th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Rosendo Brun in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Gökçe Yalazalp. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Samuel Nava got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Robert Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Wu Hao Xu replaced Peter Blomkvist. Titanes Mayas's Bernardino Arnas was substituted for Rosendo Brun. Mías Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Hao Xu went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Wu Hao Xu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mías Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. 78 minutes into the match, Wu Hao Xu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mías Marin. Titanes Mayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wu Hao Xu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 82 minutes into the match, Wu Hao Xu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin. Mías Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yu Chuan Jing was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. Mías Marin went to the wrong direction when Berkan Tufan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 92nd minute, Zhang Xiang Han reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicasio Abad. The goal made the score 7-1. Titanes Mayas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
