The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oswaldo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Oswaldo Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Thieße in the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kosteños's Stig-Ove Lundblad got a free kick in the 5th minute. Oswaldo Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timur Thieße took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Murillo. Oswaldo Murillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Oswaldo Murillo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by The KinG's Norberto Matteo. But to his dismay, Norberto Matteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Stig-Ove Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolphus Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kosteños's Oswaldo Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Matteo in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Jan-Joost Hosselaer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Murillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 27th minute, Thiago Alcántara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Kosteños's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Thieße came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Qerim Shala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Joost Hosselaer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 51st playminute. In the 55th minute Olando Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes Kosteños's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciccio Toccaceli who took care of the corner kick. Hugo Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qerim Shala in the 58th minute of play. Kosteños's Oswaldo Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Kosteños from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Joel Venceslao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Thieße in the 65th minute of play. Kosteños's Oswaldo Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Kosteños from getting a goal against them. Kosteños's Oswaldo Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Joost Hosselaer in the 68th minute of play. Jan-Joost Hosselaer came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oswaldo Murillo could save by the left post. After 71 played minutes Kosteños got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Alcántara. After 72 played minutes Ciccio Toccaceli scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Oswaldo Murillo who was too lazy, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Matteo got free with Oswaldo Murillo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Kosteños's goal looked a bit too open when Olando Abancens came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timur Thieße in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Norberto Matteo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Murillo. Kosteños's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Matteo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Oswaldo Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olando Abancens in the 90th minute of play. Oswaldo Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timur Thieße in the 91st minute of the match. The KinG played a much better game than Kosteños and deserved their victory. The Kosteños players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
