Ingemar Kaxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Victoriano Cerilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacífico FC and the Kosteños players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Cerilo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 肖志庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Pacífico FC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Neiva. Sebastian Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qerim Shala in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Kosteños's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Neiva came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Alcántara hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 肖志庭 in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Murillo saved Kosteños from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Nando Rivera made a precise shot to the right of Oswaldo Murillo. Kosteños's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 肖志庭 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Murillo having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Kosteños's Antoni Amorebieta in action when he in the 43rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Qerim Shala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 肖志庭 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 肖志庭 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Oswaldo Murillo 51 minutes into the match. If Magno Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Rivera during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Qerim Shala kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Gregorio Dantae had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Antoni Amorebieta hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Antoni Amorebieta got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 65th match minute, Kosteños was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Amorebieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, 肖志庭 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pacífico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Pacífico FC's Ismael Atauri got a free kick in the 77th minute. Sebastian Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Neiva in the 85th minute of play forced Kosteños's goalkeeper Oswaldo Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Murillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 肖志庭's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Kosteños's Oswaldo Murillo got control of the ball when 肖志庭 tried to sneak it across the goal line.
