Spectators: 173 (Terracing: 130, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Hermosillo FC's Mauricio Ekaitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Baltasar Jesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mías Marin. Titanes Mayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Jesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 5th minute, Robert Bagge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Jesco in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mías Marin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Mauricio Ekaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hermosillo FC from getting a goal against them. Mías Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute, Titanes Mayas's Zhang Xiang Han ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Bernabe Ladio notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Titanes Mayas's Mías Marin. Mías Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Titanes Mayas's Franklin Souto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samuel Evarado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th minute Freddy Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Hermosillo FC's Bernabe Ladio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mías Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After the first half Hermosillo FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Titanes Mayas made a substitution. Leopoldo Reneros replaced Qian Han Zhen. Titanes Mayas's Bernardino Arnas was substituted for Leo Crispo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Bagge to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhang Xiang Han in the 56th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhang Xiang Han took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Evarado. Samuel Evarado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Hermosillo FC's Samuel Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Bagge in the 59th minute of play. When Hermosillo FC's Baltasar Jesco in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Titanes Mayas's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Samuel Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mías Marin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yu Jing in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Bagge in the 68th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Samuel Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Jonatan Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Robert Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Su hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Leopoldo Reneros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titanes Mayas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Reneros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Titanes Mayas's Zhang Xiang Han in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hermosillo FC's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Titanes Mayas's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jing came free, but Mías Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hermosillo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hermosillo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
