Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Don Malbec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilian Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilian Martinez saved Don Malbec from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Sexto in the 19th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Don Malbec getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Celedonio Aurken hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ted Lasso sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Elmas Veloz got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ted Lasso in the 34th minute. After 37th play minutes Camilo Sexto shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Ramon Nafarroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Alfonso Retes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Sexto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Sexto in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Camilo Sexto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Venezuela's Jose Correa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfonso Retes in the 64 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Lasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Camilo Sexto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Alfonso Retes made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ted Lasso immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ted Lasso in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lasso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Sexto in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Camilo Sexto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Don Malbec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
