Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Grönlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Guilherme Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Zé Paulo Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Garcia in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Garcia in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Guilherme Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Messias in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Habilirows players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Guilherme Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guilherme Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute Celsinho Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Paulo Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Garcia in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Habilirows getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edip Malkoç hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Guilherme Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Guilherme Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Habilirows were the better team. Habilirows's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
