An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Mossberg in the 8th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hugo came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marius Neset in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Cristo Leoncio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Ignazio Corrales quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Michnik in the 20th minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mano Hume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Michnik to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Piatek took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdeněk Kozlík didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Bernt Offendahl was substituted for Alfred Mossberg. In the 40th minute, Zdeněk Kozlík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Utopía Muerta FC defense, Bernt Offendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mano Hume. The Utopía Muerta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mano Hume should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Hugo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mano Hume came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo. But to his dismay, Hector Hugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mano Hume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Hugo in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Attilio Brunelli got a free kick in the 61st minute. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 66th minute of play. Hector Hugo came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mano Hume could save by the left post. After 69 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Zdeněk Kozlík. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Alfons Magnusson was substituted for Bernt Offendahl. Zdeněk Kozlík hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Radomil Michnik came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Michnik couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Hermansson came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Hermansson in the 80th minute of play. Paul Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mano Hume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Hermansson in the 82nd minute of play forced Utopía Muerta FC's goalkeeper Mano Hume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mano Hume made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a little luck, Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume got control of the ball when Paul Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurel Crivoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Martinez went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
