Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Diego Armando Lamb started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Everardo Ado came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Lamb came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Everardo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Lamb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Everardo Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Everardo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Cañas in the 37th minute of the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Ado having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 42nd minute. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 49 minute of play, and Diego Armando Lamb capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Diego Armando Lamb really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Ado having to interfere. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Algarrobo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Everardo Ado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Jimeno Carrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Armando Lamb's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Algarrobo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
