Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremy Nicholas should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Indiano in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New England Minas's Roman Major. 21 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 31st minute of the match, Edgardo Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 32 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Ye Gang Cheng made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 51st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 57th minute of the match. Edgardo Silva scored 5-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. With his leg Jeremy Nicholas managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Santino Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Abram Secada notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-4. In the 87th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abram Secada was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New England Minas had won after a very even match.
