The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludwig de Pelsmaecker. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 16 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludwig de Pelsmaecker. The ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig de Pelsmaecker should have stopped the shot. Ludwig de Pelsmaecker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The supporters of ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Van Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ludwig de Pelsmaecker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
