KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Han Si Lin to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Han Si Lin came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Han Si Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meriç Baytekin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Han Si Lin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KOO Tigers's Désiré Kaká was substituted for Meriç Baytekin. 66 minutes into the match, KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Halil Utku Evvah in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Si Lin in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Han Si Lin might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Han Si Lin ran back to his position shaking his head. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KOO Tigers throughout the match.
