A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Conny Tingberg hit a great ball. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 6th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Edgardo Silva made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Silva. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Luis Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Edgardo Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Silva. 32 minutes into the game, Tony Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New England Minas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 45th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Conklin lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in New England Minas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty!
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Conny Tingberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The long shot by Axel Montenegro in the 54th minute really tested Jeremy Nicholas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edgardo Silva took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 59thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Conny Tingberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Conny Tingberg hit a great ball. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 70 minutes in the game Ye Gang Cheng did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tony Pacheco. In the 72nd minute of the match, Santino Seco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Nicholas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ignacio Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Abram Secada in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremy Nicholas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Samuel Navarro in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New England Minas's Oscar Nordmark. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Jeremy Nicholas threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 85th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Arturo Sito notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 89th minute. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The corner led to Colombia's Abram Secada getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New England Minas had won after a very even match.
