Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lei Wei Lin having to make a save. 5 minutes into the match, Abbotsford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Lei Wei Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhou Zhen Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 9th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Wei Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abbotsford FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lei Wei Lin saved Abbotsford FC from getting behind. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lei Wei Lin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lei Wei Lin. Lei Wei Lin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Yakut Vecihi came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lei Wei Lin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Lei Wei Lin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of play. Lei Wei Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Lei Wei Lin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Yakut Vecihi put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. In the 65th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes, Abbotsford FC's Pierre Haeberle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abbotsford FC reached it. Xavier Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevie Lucas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Commons in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lei Wei Lin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Denny Commons put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
