Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriele Batistuta got the match started through his kick off. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 16th minute of play. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 28th minute. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Salvidor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 31st minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Salvidor. Menchu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriele Batistuta got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Salvidor. Menchu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 54 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. In the 57th minute, Gabriele Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Menchu FC's Primitivo Rocendo was substituted for Uriel Gorri. Joshua Garrido hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 69th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 74th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Martínez Quarta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Martínez Quarta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 82 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriele Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Roberto Carlo made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Primitivo Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Joshua Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Menchu FC's Roberto Carlo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gabriele Batistuta's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriele Batistuta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriele Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Gabriele Batistuta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save.
