A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dennis Bergkamp hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Montenegro. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Denílson Lopes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Brian Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Gryffindor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Corinth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Denílson Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Bergkamp made a kick off. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Renato Nevares hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Brian Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Brian Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Casaus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Corinth having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Mazer in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Mazer in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute, Guilherme Mazer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Gryffindor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. C.A Gryffindor's Henrique Borges was substituted for Dennis Bergkamp. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Corinth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A Gryffindor's Nikos Prattis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Garrido, made in the 89th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's Nikos Prattis. 92 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Cássio Corinth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Chile were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
