Alejandro Cugat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Alejandro Cugat. Alejandro Cugat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejandro Cugat came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Cugat. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Cugat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Cugat. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Cugat was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Alejandro Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro scored 0-7 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Cugat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejandro Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Alejandro Cugat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Cugat. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 47th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Cugat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. The ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliberto Guzman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Cugat was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Cugat, 0-12. Alejandro Cugat came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. 70 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 0-14 behind a frustrated Alejandro Cugat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Alejandro Cugat in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alejandro Cugat made a huge save. In the 76th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Cugat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Agustín Saelices reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejandro Cugat. The goal made the score 0-15. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-17 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Alejandro Cugat made a huge save. Alejandro Cugat made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Agustín Saelices sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Alejandro Cugat made a huge save. Alejandro Cugat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Alejandro Cugat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alejandro Cugat was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-18. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
