Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento made the kick off and thus started the match. Petruț Fințescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 2ndth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abram Sarmiento scored 2-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Nazario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rigoberto Nazario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Axel Montenegro sped through Argentinos Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Nazario. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven de Zwaan got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Fințescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Petruț Fințescu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Fințescu couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Nazario. Argentinos Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rigoberto Nazario came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. But to his dismay, Kevin Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Petruț Fințescu scored 3-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Petruț Fințescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Manzanares, passed just outside the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 3-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petruț Fințescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sven de Zwaan made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven de Zwaan in the 61st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Petruț Fințescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute Ruperto Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Celedonio Madeo hit a great ball. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 70th minute of the match. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache managed to work through Argentinos Juniors's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ignacio Mastache dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Nazario made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Ignacio Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Nazario was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. Rigoberto Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. If Robert Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petruț Fințescu made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robert Wilson. 90 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petruț Fințescu went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. Rigoberto Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
