Enio Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. In the 11thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enio Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Ter Stefanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Diego Bradley hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enio Coelho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25thth minute of the game Enio Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Fabian Brown put in a rough tackle. Marco Day went to the wrong direction when Prospero Jobo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 38th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stefanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stefanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 41st minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Prospero Jobo was slow to take the kick. During this time CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Prospero Jobo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Enio Coelho made the kick off in the second half. Ter Stefanek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Coelho's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Enio Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Zach Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. After 76 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stefanek was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Ter Stefanek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, USA's Marco Baker got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stefanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Khalid Parry put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ter Stefanek. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Ramón Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Ramón Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS throughout the match.
