Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severiano Campelo kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Campelo. After having played for 13 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Nascente do Leça were awarded a corner. Severiano Campelo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Nascente do Leça's corner Nuno Bomba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Campelo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Vilalobos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severiano Campelo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Severiano Campelo came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Vilalobos having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Raya in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bento Madeira during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nascente do Leça's Bento Madeira got a free kick in the 41st minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Frederico Vilalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Severiano Campelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Campelo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Campelo in the 50th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Severiano Campelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Frederico Vilalobos made a huge save. Frederico Vilalobos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Severiano Campelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Frederico Vilalobos however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Severiano Campelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Campelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Campelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Vilalobos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Frederico Vilalobos firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. The Nascente do Leça support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
