Ermegildo Izaguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Dragușin in the 5th minute of play. Aras Görkem Kaymaz struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MZ Fénix's Florin Dragușin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 13 minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Cai Yuan Yuan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. Colombia's Antonio Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomasz Waldoch in the 18 minute of the game. Pankracy Zajonc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 25th minute of play. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Cai Yuan Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Basilio Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Fénix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After 43 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ovando. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Tomasz Waldoch made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Zajonc. Pankracy Zajonc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 69th minute of play. Cai Yuan Yuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Florin Dragușin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. The crowd rose to their feet as Santino Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pankracy Zajonc. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 83rd minute of the match. Pascual Carballar's late challenge caught a MZ Fénix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Carballar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. Cai Yuan Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 90th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ignacio Mastache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Zajonc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
