Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by ORION F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Villalaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadhyan Rudrappa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dadhyan Rudrappa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa. Dadhyan Rudrappa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Dadhyan Rudrappa. ORION F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz. But to his dismay, Pedro Villalaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadhyan Rudrappa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the ORION F.C. defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadhyan Rudrappa. The ORION F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadhyan Rudrappa should have stopped the shot. In the 40th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Villalaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dadhyan Rudrappa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Villalaz was the one to do the kick off. Andrés Mendieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadhyan Rudrappa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When Camilo Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Camilo Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ORION F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Dadhyan Rudrappa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 61 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Dadhyan Rudrappa managed to make a qualified save. ORION F.C.'s players were relieved. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dadhyan Rudrappa made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ORION F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ORION F.C.'s goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ORION F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pedro Villalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuele Neustadt was slow to take the kick. During this time ORION F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Pedro Villalaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Pedro Villalaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Luis Quirós hit a great ball. Pedro Villalaz scored 3-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 90th minute. Andrés Mendieta kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Enrique Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ORION F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Ecuador played a much better game than ORION F.C. and deserved their victory. The ORION F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
