Mario Fernandino's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nykvarn's Alf Jönsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 31 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Chicote came free, but Tor Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 39th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Tor Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Tor Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Nykvarn's attentive Jon Matsson managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Tejedor made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. With a little luck, Nykvarn's Tor Josefsson got control of the ball when Eduardo Fontirroig tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Jakobsson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tor Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Bolivia's Julio Chicote nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 86th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor Josefsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduardo Fontirroig slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 92nd minute. When Bengt-Rune Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave Bengt-Rune Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Bengt-Rune Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Bolivia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nykvarn throughout the match.
