Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter George in the 3rd minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kraig Fred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Harris in the 35th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Cordarrel in the 92nd minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Cordarrel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jax Williamson having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Canada left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Estudiantes de América.
